Meet the Teacher
Hi, I’m Victoria — owner and teacher of The Driftwood Play School.
I hold a Master of Education in Instructional Design and a Bachelor of Elementary Education and Literacy. I’m a Washington State-certified elementary teacher with a reading endorsement. My expertise is in early literacy and play-based learning.
I’m passionate about blending research-based instruction with the wonder of childhood; creating a warm, nature-inspired space! We build academic and life skills to best prepare your child for school and beyond.
Outside of the classroom, I love cooking and gardening! I’m a mama to 2 busy boys and our family loves any reason to get outside.

Mrs. G designs the curriculum to meet the needs of each student. Our learning is nature-based and emphasizes the changing seasons. Early literacy, math, science, music, and art are all integrated into our learning.
Skills
Skills
Life skills are a very intentional part of our day. You will find us working in the garden, preparing our snacks, and enjoying meals together. We focus on social skills and building independence.
